Job summary

Streamline Studios is seeking a Lead Environment Artist for a fully remote freelance/contract role, with potential conversion to full-time based on performance. You will manage projects, mentor artists, and work with clients and internal leads to shape production visuals.

You will collaborate with the Senior Lead/Art Director, define artistic goals, plan content submissions, and optimize pipelines to maximize efficiency while maintaining high-quality game environments.

Qualifications

• Expert in environmental modelling or texturing using industry tools.
• Proficient with Unreal Engine 4 and/or Unity for game production.
• Strong ability to mentor artists and drive visual quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor artists to maintain consistent production visuals.
• Coordinate with senior leaders and clients to align artistic goals.
• Plan schedules and oversee asset assignment across teams.
• Prepare content submission packages for client reviews on time.
• Develop and optimize art production pipelines for efficiency.
