Job summary

COMPUTER NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES SDN. BHD. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Iskandar Puteri team. You will provide remote IT diagnostics and assist in new setup installations, while maintaining accurate records in our ticketing system.

You will troubleshoot, maintain systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and security. The role requires strong networking knowledge and clear communication with users, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field required.
3–5 years of relevant experience.
Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN.
FortiGate firewall experience is a plus.
Experience administering Microsoft 365 (users, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
Experience with Windows Server (AD, GPO, file/print).
Familiarity with RMM and ticketing systems is a plus.
Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide remote IT diagnostics and first/second-level support.
Assist in setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, printers, and network devices.
Monitor and report system performance and issues.
Perform advanced network troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues.
Collaborate with project teams to implement network solutions.
Manage IT assets and keep records updated.
Document work, test solutions, and close requests.
Maintain clear communication with users and provide customer-friendly support.
Handle support requests from initial response to resolution.
