Job summary

BLCK HOSPITALITY PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager / Financial Controller to lead the finance function across a group of operating companies. This remote role demands strong FP&A, cash-flow management and management reporting with a focus on profitability.

The successful candidate will supervise AP and AR, oversee month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, and provide management with clear financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Strong accounting and financial-control experience.
• Experience managing multiple companies/entities.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Proven experience in cash-flow forecasting, preferably 13-week forecasting.
• Strong financial modelling, Excel and analytical skills.
• Experience in management reporting and consolidation.
• Strong understanding of profitability, break-even and variance analysis.
• Experience supervising or reviewing AP and AR functions.
• Strong communication and management-reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting, General Ledger and month-end closing across multiple entities.
• Review AP, AR, journals, accruals, prepayments, payroll, inventory, COGS and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated group reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly Budget vs Actual analysis.
• Maintain a 13-week rolling cash-flow forecast and monitor group liquidity.
• Prepare rolling forecasts and identify future financial risks and funding requirements.
• Analyse company, outlet and business-unit profitability.
• Perform break-even, margin, cost and variance analysis.
• Monitor COGS, food/beverage costs, labour costs, inventory and operational variances.
• Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and fraud/leakage prevention.
• Oversee intercompany balances, treasury, tax, audit and statutory compliance.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, investments and CAPEX through financial modelling.
• Prepare scenario and sensitivity analysis, including ROI and payback assessments.
• Provide management with clear financial insights, recommendations and action plans.
