Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Regional Finance Assistant Manager / Manager to oversee finance activities across multiple entities in Asia. You will lead monthly closings, reporting, budgeting and governance with local teams and Group Finance.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, ERP experience, and ability to coordinate cross-border processes. A senior finance professional with 5+ years in regional roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably with regional or multi-entity exposure.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in distribution, trading, manufacturing or industrial businesses is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly closing and financial reporting for assigned regional entities.
• Analyse financial performance, including revenue, margins, expenses, working capital and Budget vs Actual.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting with local finance teams.
• Review key accounting matters, balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.
• Oversee taxation, statutory reporting and compliance matters with local teams and advisers.
• Strengthen finance controls, processes and reporting consistency across entities.
• Provide financial insights to management and support regional finance initiatives.
