Job summary

Agilent Technologies Sales (Malaysia) is seeking a Demand Planning Data Scientist to build statistical models and deliver insights for demand forecasting that guide inventory and supply plans.

You will partner with IBP demand planners to generate reliable forecasts, investigate forecast accuracy, and communicate gains from productionizing analytics across the business. A remote work option is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data science or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge in predictive modeling, ML, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, R or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical forecasts and predictive models for product orders across geographies.
• Assist Demand Planners with root cause analysis of forecast deviations.
• Evaluate IBP deviations and their impact on monthly plans.
• Generate analytical insights and validate model performance.
