Job summary

Teradyne in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager / Electronics Engineer to install systems, manage projects, calibrate and troubleshoot Teradyne equipment. You will provide application support for customer production issues and own problems to resolution.

You will build strong customer relationships, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and deliver training and technical exchanges. International travel is expected; fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in testing or ATE environments.
• Experience in programming and hardware troubleshooting on Teradyne or other ATE platforms; familiarity with UltraFlex or UltraFlexPlus is a strong advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent written and verbal English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Perform system installation, project management, calibration, retrofitting, training, and troubleshooting.
• Provide application support for customer production issues.
• Escalate customer production problems and take full ownership until resolution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers; collaborate on issue prevention.
• Develop and implement support plans with cross-functional teams and customer maintenance groups to improve uptime and efficiency of Teradyne Test Equipment.
• Deliver training, facilitate technical exchanges, and present technical papers.
