Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Outsourced Bookkeeper to support multiple clients with day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance. You will work with our accounting team and client managers to ensure timely, accurate records.

The role requires at least 3 years in bookkeeping, familiarity with Australian standards, GST, ATO lodgement, and proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. Hybrid remote work is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience with Australian clients preferred.
• Proficient with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of GST, payroll compliance, and ATO lodgement.
• Strong data integrity and record-keeping.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Hybrid work arrangements negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end bookkeeping using cloud software.
• Process AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS statements.
• Assist with month-end reporting and management accounts.
• Ensure accurate records and compliance with ATO regulations.
• Coordinate with client managers to resolve queries.
• Collaborate with internal accountants on reporting and advisory tasks.
