Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Project Engineer to support the deployment and implementation of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions. You will coordinate system deployment, commissioning, technical support, and customer implementation projects while working closely with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.

This role is primarily remote with travel to customer locations when required, and requires hands-on experience with robotics systems, ROS, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics, CS, engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in robotics, automation, or industrial systems.
• Knowledge of robotic systems including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Proficiency with ROS and Python programming.
• Hands-on system integration and wiring/assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deployment, configuration, commissioning, validation, and testing of AMR systems at customer sites.
• Manage project execution by identifying risks and ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop and execute simulation models to optimize system performance and deployment strategies.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Gather customer requirements and translate them into AMR solutions.
• Support system integration, workflow design, fleet management, and deployment planning.
• Troubleshoot robotics hardware, ROS navigation, PLCs and integrated software systems.
• Ensure deployed systems comply with safety standards and project requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, commissioning reports, deployment records, and system documentation.
• Deliver remote and on-site customer training and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to improve system performance.
