Job summary

Vaquita Partners Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional to manage full set of accounts, AR, AP, invoicing, payroll filings, and financial reporting while supporting sales operations and logistics coordination for construction material shipments.

You will liaise with auditors and authorities, maintain compliant documentation, coordinate with freight forwarders, and work from home on most days with occasional on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in accounting and/or sales administration.
• Familiarity with SST and standard bookkeeping practices.
• Exposure to import/customs documentation and freight forwarder coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in construction or building materials trading sector would be an advantage.
• CIDB experience/knowledge would be an advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently during a work from home environment on most days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), invoicing, credit control and general ledger
• Prepare and issue sales invoices, credit notes and statements of account
• Prepare monthly management reports
• Prepare and submit statutory payroll filings and liaise with relevant authorities, including EPF, SOCSO and LHDN, with support from the appointed service provider
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and relevant authorities on statutory matters and filings, including SST, Form E, annual returns, EPF, SOCSO and LHDN
• Maintain accurate and proper filing of financial and contractual documentation in accordance with company and statutory requirements
• Process customer orders, sales contracts and delivery documentation
• Coordinate closely with the sales team, logistics providers and customers to ensure timely order fulfilment
• Prepare quotations and proforma invoices
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs agents on import documentation and compliance for construction material shipments, including permits, HS codes and certificates of origin
