Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager to manage an SME portfolio and drive cross-selling of banking products and services in alignment with the bank's business objectives.

The role involves acquiring new quality customers, executing business plans, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Collaboration with product specialists in Trade, Forex, and Cash Management Solutions is essential to maximize facility utilization.

Qualifications

• Banking knowledge is required; credit knowledge is preferred.
• Fresh graduates or those with 1-2 years of banking exposure.
• 2–3 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and RM for Account Manager, or 3–5 years for Senior Account Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned SME portfolio to meet personal and business centre targets.
• Continuously cross-sell the Bank’s products & services to meet customer needs and financial objectives.
• Acquire new quality loan/deposit customers.
• Execute business plans and strategies set by the Bank.
• Comply with all relevant rules and regulations governing the Bank’s business.
• Collaborate with product specialists to enhance utilization of banking facilities, including Trade, Forex, and Cash Management Solutions.

Requirement

• A University Degree / Diploma
• Banking know-how, credit knowledge preferred
• Fresh graduate or those with 1-2 years of working experience with basic banking know-how
• Minimum 2-3 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and relationship management (for Account Manager) / Minimum 3-5 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and relationship management (for Senior Account Manager)
