Job summary

The role requires a recognised degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business, and strong analysis plus communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell deposit products to Commercial Banking non-borrowing and borrowing profile customers
• Grow deposits and drive deposit growth through events and programs
• Strengthen customer loyalty and satisfaction through proactive service and adherence to sales processes
• Identify market opportunities and implement sales programs to achieve results
• Manage relationships including KYC and close engagement with top clients of the unit

Job Description

Responsible in marketing and sales of deposit products such as deposits, cash and trade management solutions and Global Markets products to Commercial Banking non-borrowing and borrowing profile customers. Work with borrowing team to grow deposits and coming up with events to drive deposit growth. Build and deepen customer loyalty and satisfaction through word and deed: be a role model, quick to address defects and institute measurements and tracking. Ensure maintenance of the highest possible standards of sales practices and investment advice for clients in line with UOB’s advisory and sales processes. Identify market opportunities for business growth & takes charge to implement sales programs to achieve the desired results. Grow the portfolio by way of new client acquisition & relationship deepening through cross-sell of appropriate products. Be fully responsible and accountable for all the customer relationships under management by way of KYC and personally getting to know the top clients of the unit. Exercise sound business judgement and, at all times, to safeguard the interest of the bank as well as that of the customers. To ensure at all times, compliance with the bank’s policies and guidelines pertaining to staff behavior, sales, products and marketing.

Job Requirements
