Responsibilities

  • Market and sell deposits, cash and trade management solutions to Corporate clients.
  • Grow deposits by collaborating with borrowing team and by organizing events.
  • Maintain high standards of sales practices and provide investment advice.
  • Identify market opportunities and implement sales programs to achieve targets.
  • Grow portfolio through new client acquisition and cross-selling of appropriate products.
  • Be fully responsible for customer relationships under management, including KYC.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and guidelines pertaining to staff behavior, sales, products and marketing.

Job Description

Responsible in marketing and sales of deposit products such as deposits, cash and trade management solutions and Global Markets products to Commercial Banking non-borrowing and borrowing profile customers.

Work with borrowing team to grow deposits and coming up with events to drive deposit growth.

Build and deepen customer loyalty and satisfaction through word and deed: be a role model, quick to address defects and institute measurements and tracking.

Ensure maintenance of the highest possible standards of sales practices and investment advice for clients in line with UOB’s advisory and sales processes.

Identify market opportunities for business growth & takes charge to implement sales programs to achieve the desired results.

Grow the portfolio by way of new client acquisition & relationship deepening through cross-sell of appropriate products.

Be fully responsible and accountable for all the customer relationships under management by way of KYC and personally getting to know the top clients of the unit.

Exercise sound business judgement and, at all times, to safeguard the interest of the bank as well as that of the customers.

To ensure at all times, compliance with the bank’s policies and guidelines pertaining to staff behavior, sales, products and marketing.

Job Requirements

A recognised Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business Related Studies

Independent, reliable and meticulous in work approach

Fluent in Mandarin (write, read and speak) would be an added advantage.

Good analytical and effective written and verbal communication skills

Committed, confident, determined, self-motivated and a team player
