Standard Chartered Plc in Malaysia seeks a Relationship Manager, Acquisition Specialist to identify prospects, structure credit facilities, and manage a growing client portfolio. You will market Trade, Cash Management, Lending and Wealth products, preparing credit proposals and coordinating with the credit team to ensure solid lending decisions.

The role emphasizes cross-border servicing with international clients and may provide Mandarin-speaking opportunities.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience serving business, commercial or corporate clients.
• Track record in acquiring new clients.
• Strong product knowledge across Trade, Cash Management, Lending and FX.
• Experience servicing international businesses in cross-border contexts.
• Mandarin fluency is a plus.

• Provide client-centric solutions, structure appropriate credit facility, and execute various banking transactions.
• Maintain a portfolio of active and growing customers.
• Market and sell broad range of products such as Trade Services, Lending, Cash Management and Wealth.
• Prepare credit proposal and loan application of customers.
• Work closely with credit team to ensure good quality lending decisions are made.
• Implement agreed business plan to achieve sales/ revenue targets.

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in serving business, commercial or corporate clients.
• A track record in new client acquisition.
• Sound product knowledge on Trade, Cash Management, Lending and FX and strong understanding of local industries, supply and value chains and market environment.
• Experience servicing international businesses under the cross-border context.
• Ability to speak Mandarin fluently is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of wealth products.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
