Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Senior Solution Architect for the Credit Cards domain in Malaysia. The role focuses on roadmapping robust, future-ready card solutions and leading solution architecture and delivery.

You will manage stakeholders, vendors, and project costs while ensuring regulatory and security standards are met. You will contribute to API integrations, EMV/PCI DSS compliance, and collaboration across teams in a hybrid working model, leveraging cloud and digital transformation

Qualifications

• B TECH or BE or MBA grade in Computer Science/ Information Systems or related IT Area; 8 to 15 Years
• Knowledge of Credit Card Issuance/Management, Digital Channels interface, Encryption, HSM and ISO8583 messaging standards
• Familiarity with EMV Contact/Contactless, VISA and MasterCard Card Issuing & Acquiring, Scheme compliance requirements
• Experience on Switch integration with VISA/Mastercard is mandatory. Others such as UPI, JCB and National switches
• Experience on Web Service integration and API’s
• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., waterfall, Agile and other modern approaches to software development)

Responsibilities

• Create roadmap for robust, futuristic Credit Cards domain solutions
• Handle solution architecture design and delivery in Credit Cards domain
• Develop solutions with stakeholder, vendor and financial management
• Identify and manage risks with contingency plans
• Review card issuing, processing standards, and ISO8583 messaging
• Work with CCMS Card link and C400 platform; ensure scheme compliance
• Lead and mentor team; collaborate across POD
• Ensure security: HSM, encryption keys, and PCI DSS/PA DSS compliance
• Oversee SOA/integration with Web Services, SOAP/REST-JSON
• Experience with EFT switches or online banking environments
• Perform cost estimation and project budgeting

Job description

• The role will be responsible to creating a roadmap for application which are robust and futuristic solutions for Credit Cards domain.
• The role will be responsible for handling the Solution Architecture designing and delivery for the Credit Cards domain.
• Will be responsible for developing solutions, stake holder management, vendor and financial management, developing project costs, and delivering the developed solutions.
• Ability to Identifying and managing risks, including developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
• Knowledge on card issuing and transaction acquiring processing and standards.
• Knowledge on CCMS Card link and C400 platform, ISO8583 messaging standard protocols.
• Hand on experience with VISA, MasterCard Card, UPI and other national card schemes Issuing & Acquiring, Scheme compliance requirement.
• Desirable to have knowledge on national schemes and processor integrations.
• Knowledge about API’s (SOAP, JSON, REST..ETC) and Web Service Integration.
• Knowledge about Back Office integration.
• Knowledge about HSM protocols and configuration, Knowledge about encryption Keys/Cryptography both symmetric and asymmetric keys, 3DES, AES, SM4, SHA.
