Talent First Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer (Payments Fintech) to join our team in Malaysia. The role involves regular regulatory reporting to the local payment authority and due diligence across merchants and partners.

You will review legal contracts from a compliance lens, perform AML/KYC checks, and collaborate with Legal on complex agreements, with annual bonus and regional exposure as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experience in compliance, risk management or merchant risk.
• Familiarity with local payment regulations and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular regulatory reports to local payment authorities.
• Review documents for local and foreign merchants, payment partners, etc.
• Perform due diligence checks such as CDD/EDD and AML/KYC.
• Interpret and review contracts from a compliance and risk perspective before processing.
• Conduct financial and commercial reviews.
• Collaborate with Legal and external counsel on high-risk or non-standard agreements.

5 days work week, Work-From-Home

• Review documents for local and foreign merchants, payment partners, etc.
• Due Diligence check such as CDD/EDD and AML/KYC.
• Interpret and review legal contracts from a compliance and risk perspective before processing.
• Conduct financial and commercial reviews.
• Work with Legal and external counsel for complex, high-risk, foreign or non-standard agreements.

Requirements

• At least Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experience in compliance, risk management, identifying merchant risk or financial services.
