Job summary

Maxis is seeking a Contract Strategy & Governance professional in Malaysia to apply established governance frameworks, secure internal approvals, and maintain audit-ready records while managing a caseload to meet TAT and SLAs.

You will coordinate with Sales, Legal, Pricing, Product and Operations; advise on deviations and risk, drive compliance with policies and RPT rules, and lead improvements in contracting processes, visibility, and reporting to boost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Apply the established contract governance framework consistently, ensuring adherence to approved templates, clause libraries, and internal approval matrices; maintain audit-ready repository records with version control, approval trails, and metadata logging.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and execute enterprise customer contracts, ensuring balanced risk management and legal compliance; manage pre- to post-sales contract processes with clear execution roadmaps.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams regarding contract queries, strategy, and risk assessments; advise on deviations, risk trade-offs, and strategic negotiation approaches.
• Develop KPIs to monitor contract effectiveness, risk exposure and operational efficiency; implement solutions for contract automation, tracking and reporting to enhance visibility and execution.
