Job summary

Vistra is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional in Malaysia to manage month-end closing processes and ensure accuracy across subsidiaries. The role entails preparing management reports, reconciling intercompany balances, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.

Collaborate with the SSC Finance team to ensure timely and accurate postings, maintain robust internal controls, and contribute to ad hoc financial projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Perform month-end closing and ensure accuracy of subsidiaries' accounting.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for management review.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and other balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare cash and bank reconciliations and monthly cash flow analysis.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with SSC Finance for timely and accurate bookings.
• Identify internal control weaknesses and suggest corrective actions.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing procedures and ensure integrity of subsidiary books.
• Prepare and present financial reports for management review on a monthly basis.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and other balance sheet components.
• Monitor cash and bank reconciliations; analyze monthly cash flows.
