Job summary

Vistra in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Manager, Fund Services to lead day-to-day operations, budgeting, forecasting and client reporting. You will drive process improvements and ensure timely delivery for regional clients.

As a senior leader, you will manage a fund accounting team, oversee IFRS/US GAAP disclosures, develop insights on profitability, and mentor staff while maintaining strong controls and SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• At least 8-10 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling, and management reporting.
• Proficient understanding of Singapore FRS or IFRS.
• Strong team management experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Able to meet tight and multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational matters and critical issues.
• Review financial statements, management accounts, and accounting packages for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee consolidation work and verify its completeness.
• Draft disclosure wording in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and periodic reforecasting.
• Perform actual-versus-budget and forecast variance analysis; identify key drivers and actions.
• Develop management insights on client and portfolio profitability and cost efficiency.
• Partner with Finance and stakeholders on scenario modelling and performance reporting.
• Lead interviews for fund accounting team recruitment.
• Provide training on accounting principles and private equity practices.
• Maintain SOPs and drive process automation and controls.
• Monitor performance and align capacity with demand.
