Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Sourcing & Procurement Analyst IV in Malaysia to lead strategic sourcing for metal stamping across Southeast Asia. You will drive supplier development, RFx processes, and localization initiatives, partnering with Engineering, Quality, Operations to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and risk management.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, stamping knowledge, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, supplier development, manufacturing engineering, or procurement.
Strong technical understanding of stamping processes, tooling and press capabilities.
Proven experience in supplier scouting, RFQ/RFP evaluation, cost breakdowns, and localization.
Ability to translate drawings and specifications into sourcing decisions.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional commodity and supplier strategies for metal stamping.
Manage end-to-end RFx processes, supplier evaluation, cost analysis, negotiations, and contracts.
Drive localization, supplier footprint optimization, and dual sourcing for resilience.
Lead supplier development plans and performance reviews with engineering and quality teams.
Collaborate on NPI, tooling launches, capacity ramp-up, and production readiness.
Monitor supplier KPIs and risks, driving corrective actions and savings.
