Job summary

ABB Motion is seeking a Regional Senior Customer Support Specialist to back sales and service activities across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. In this role, you’ll provide technical and commercial support, respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, and help identify new business opportunities while building strong customer relationships.

The position involves a hybrid work model and regional travel to engage customers and support continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; master’s degree is an advantage.
• Experience in a similar role, ideally in an international or multicultural environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proactive, customer-focused, and sales-driven mindset.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel within the assigned geographic region.

• Configure products mechanically and electrically using available tools and systems.
• Provide professional technical and commercial support to customers and local sales teams.
• Support in achieving sales targets related to revenue, profitability, and product mix.

• Manage sales administration, quotations, customer follow-ups, and support project execution when required.

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Regional Senior Customer Support Specialist to support the sales and service activities of ABB Motion business across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand Market. In this role, you will work closely with ABB Local Sales Units to provide technical and commercial support, respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and help identify new business opportunities. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the growth of the business within the assigned region.

• Strong commercial awareness with a proactive, customer-focused, and sales-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel within the assigned geographic region for short-term business assignments.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
