This position reports to:

Sales Support Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Regional Senior Customer Support Specialist to support the sales and service activities of ABB Motion business across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand Market. In this role, you will work closely with ABB Local Sales Units to provide technical and commercial support, respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and help identify new business opportunities. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the growth of the business within the assigned region.

The Work Model for this role is:

• Configuring products mechanically and electrically using available tools and systems.
• Providing professional technical and commercial support to customers and local sales teams.
• Supporting in achieving sales targets related to revenue, profitability, and product mix.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver the best solutions for customers.
• Supporting in identifying new business opportunities in line with the country sales strategy.
• Managing sales administration, quotations, customer follow-ups, and support project execution when required.
• Traveling within the assigned region to engage customers, implement marketing initiatives, build relationships, and contribute to continuous team improvement.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; master’s degree is an advantage.
• Candidates with a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering providing sales support and other techno-commercial activities.
• Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within an international or multicultural business environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proactive, customer-focused, and sales-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel within the assigned geographic region for short-term business assignments.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
