Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Regional Assistant Manager Security Operations to strengthen cybersecurity across the SecOps function. You will lead threat detection, response, vulnerability management, and monitoring, coordinating with infrastructure, applications, and cloud teams to reduce cyber risk and improve resilience.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical and technical skills, and a proactive security mindset to align with regulatory and business objectives while guiding security

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in security operations and teams.
• Strong experience with threat detection, incident response and threat hunting.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and risk-based prioritization.
• Familiarity with cloud security and security analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and tuning of SIEM/EDR/IDS/IPS to detect threats in real time.
• Oversee incident investigations, containment, remediation and reporting.
• Drive threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and risk-based prioritization.
• Develop incident response playbooks and cloud security controls.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with infra, app, cloud, and business teams.
