Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Regional Assistant Manager to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities across SecOps. You will oversee threat detection, response activities, and vulnerability management, coordinating with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to reduce cyber risk and improve resilience.

The role requires leadership, analytical and technical skills, plus a proactive security mindset and collaboration across business units.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of threat detection and incident response.
• Ability to develop and refine incident response playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and tuning of SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR to detect real-time threats.
• Oversee investigations, containment, remediation, and post-incident reporting.
• Conduct threat hunting to identify advanced threats and reduce risk.
• Develop risk-based vulnerability management and cloud security practices.
• Create and enforce security policies, standards, and compliance controls.
