Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT Security / Cybersecurity experience (Fortinet preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Solid understanding of network security concepts (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS).
• Experience with Windows environments.
• Ability to analyze logs, security events, and incidents.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse, and respond to security incidents and alerts.
• Implement and maintain security controls for servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
• Manage and support security tools such as antivirus, EDR, firewall, SIEM, email security, and DLP.
• Assist in security policy development, enforcement, and user awareness programs.
• Perform regular security reviews, audits, and compliance checks.
• Support incident response, investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Application, and Support teams on security-related matters.
