Job summary

Rovski Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a proactive sales-focused professional to drive new business across the Northern Peninsular Malaysia in the E&E sector. You will build relationships with manufacturers, engineers and procurement teams, assess customer needs, and recommend solutions.

The role involves managing the full sales journey from prospecting to closing, regular travel within the region, and representing the company at industry events.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, account management or customer-facing roles in E&E, semiconductor, electronics manufacturing or related industry.
• Familiarity with the E&E ecosystem in Northern Malaysia is a strong advantage.
• Degree in engineering not mandatory; candidates from business, marketing, science, technology or related backgrounds encouraged to apply.
• Ability to communicate professionally in English and Mandarin; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is an added advantage.
• Confident in meeting new people, starting conversations and building long-term business relationships.
• Curious about technology and eager to learn about technical products and customer applications.
• Self-motivated, resourceful and able to manage a regional territory independently.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Ideally based in or near Penang; willing to travel regularly within Northern Peninsular Malaysia and attend meetings in Selangor when required.
• Possesses a valid driving licence and access to reliable transportation.
• Fresh or early-career candidates with relevant E&E exposure may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within the E&E industry across Northern Peninsular Malaysia.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, engineers, procurement teams, decision-makers and industry partners.
• Identify customers’ business and operational needs, then work with internal teams to recommend suitable solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, sales presentations, product introductions and commercial discussions.
• Manage the sales journey from initial prospecting and quotation through negotiation and closing.
• Monitor industry developments, customer investments, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline and provide regular updates on customer activities and market opportunities.
• Coordinate with colleagues in sales, technical support, operations and management to serve customers effectively.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events and other industry activities when required.
• Attend meetings, training and company activities at our Selangor office when necessary.
