Job summary

m.t.m realty sdn bhd is seeking a Regional Project Manager (Retail & Events) to lead promotional campaigns, retail activations, exhibitions and long-term outlet projects across Malaysia. You will plan, coordinate, and execute complex programs while managing budgets, timelines, and teams.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related fields and at least 5 years’ experience in mall operations, retail projects, or events. Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in shopping mall operations, retail projects, event management, or related fields
• Strong project management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and oversee retail, commercial, and event projects from inception to completion
• Manage project setup, daily operations, and dismantling where applicable
• Liaise with mall management, landlords, tenants, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
• Prepare and present project proposals including timelines, budgets, execution plans, risk assessments, and P&L projections
• Monitor progress to meet milestones, quality standards, and deadlines
• Lead multiple projects with manpower planning and resource allocation
• Conduct meetings and maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with Marketing to maximize exposure and promotional effectiveness
• Identify issues and provide practical solutions for efficient completion
