Job summary
PerkinElmer is seeking a Regional Product Manager to serve as an embedded field specialist supporting the commercial organisation in an assigned region. This role bridges central product management with regional sales and marketing, delivering product knowledge, competitive response, and local market insights.
The Regional PM acts as the product line's voice in the field, assisting regional leaders with demonstrations, launches, and feedback to drive regional success and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in product management or related fields in analytical instrumentation or scientific equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
- Willingness to travel 40–50% within the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time product expertise to regional sales teams, support demonstrations, and assist in key account meetings.
- Lead regional competitive response with timely, accurate guidance on competitors' instruments, pricing, or claims.
- Support regional sales management with product mix analysis, forecasts, and portfolio utilization data.
- Attend regional conferences and customer events to gather competitive intelligence and build relationships.
