Job summary

CelcomDigi in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, seeks an experienced engineer to plan and manage IPRAN, VSAT and transmission networks to support mobile rollout, LTE expansion, MCMC and JENDELA requirements. You will drive CAPEX project delivery, capacity build, and cost optimization through VSAT/leased-line rationalization, while improving operational efficiency via workflow automation and governance.

Qualifications

3–5 years in transmission planning and design for access, metro and trunk networks.
Strong knowledge of VSAT, DWDM, microwave, and fiber infrastructure.
Good analytical, project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and plan access connectivity networks end-to-end.
Understand high-level architecture of fiber and electronics networks, ducts, manholes and related equipment.
Collaborate with project teams and vendors to drive CAPEX and OPEX optimization.
Plan investments to support growth and expansion with cost‑effective solutions.
Liaise with internal teams and external providers for execution and governance.
Continuously improve processes and maintain reference databases for tools.
