Job summary

Medtronic International Ltd in Malaysia seeks a Principal Training/Education Specialist to lead regional medical education and procedural training programs. You will oversee strategy, faculty development, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful learning across multiple formats.

The role focuses on advancing clinical knowledge, technical proficiency, and therapy adoption, with flexibility in work arrangements and travel to support events and trainings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in medical education or related.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs for healthcare professionals and clinical stakeholders.
• Experience managing educational events, faculty relationships, and external stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across commercial, marketing, clinical, and operational functions to meet objectives.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and execution of education programs for healthcare professionals and clinical stakeholders.
• Design and maintain training curricula, materials, and learning methodologies.
• Develop relationships with faculty, KOLs, proctors, societies, and teaching hospitals.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to align educational strategies with business objectives.
• Create and implement virtual, hybrid, and in-person education programs to increase learner engagement.
• Evaluate existing offerings, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement.
• Ensure education programs comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, calendars, events, and post-program communications.
