Job summary

Grab is seeking an experienced Controllership professional to manage regional accounting and regulatory reporting for insurance entities in Malaysia, Singapore, and the region. The role requires deep expertise in insurance accounting, statutory filings, and multi-entity leadership within a fast‑growing tech company.

You will own the integrity of financial records, serve as the accounting reference point for insurance matters, and partner with actuarial, regulatory, and country teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA/ACCA/CPA) is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience, insurance preferred.
• Expertise in statutory reporting and audit coordination.
• Experience leading multi-entity finance teams across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close for regional entities and insurers.
• Lead insurance regulatory returns and statutory filings across SG/MY.
• Advise on regional insurance accounting policy and changes.
• Partner with actuarial, tax, treasury and legal for insights.
• Manage internal controls, data analytics and process improvements.
• Coach country finance teams and drive regulatory excellence.
• Contribute to special projects and system implementations.
