Job Description
- Partner with Business and Supply leadership to translate long-term growth and innovation plans into manufacturing and supply strategy.
- Assess capacity, capabilities and bottlenecks across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Support Supply Network Design and manufacturing footprint optimisation across Asia.
- Identify opportunities to improve plant productivity, line efficiency and operational performance.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations teams on debottlenecking, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support make-versus-buy, sourcing and external manufacturing decisions.
- Develop and prioritise short-, medium- and long-term capital investment requirements.
- Drive initiatives to improve COGS, conversion costs, productivity and margin performance.
- Benchmark operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Act as a strategic partner across Supply, Business, Engineering, Finance and Plant leadership teams.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, manufacturing excellence or operations excellence.
- Well versed with the FMCG industry
- Demonstrated understanding of plant KPIs, capacity, bottlenecks, productivity and operational losses.
- Exposure to Supply Network Design, manufacturing strategy, capacity planning or network optimisation.
- Experience working across multiple manufacturing sites, locations or product categories.
- Exposure to CapEx planning, make-versus-buy, sourcing, COGS or cost improvement will be highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, commercial and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work across Business, Supply and Manufacturing.
- Regional / Asia Pacific experience is preferred.
