Job summary

Lam Research International Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Regional Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager to lead go-to-market approaches, benchmark suppliers, and drive cost competitiveness for indirect goods and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement/supply chain experience with indirect categories.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies and present to the procurement team leader.
• Plan, organize, and control contracts and negotiations for indirect goods and services.
• Drive supplier contract management and negotiations based on global/regional/local environments.
• Facilitate supplier negotiations and contract addendums.
• Build a robust supply network to meet indirect procurement needs.
• Represent procurement on cross-functional teams to address supply challenges.
• Define and monitor metrics in line with AOP objectives for supplier performance.
• Regularly evaluate cost and quality benchmarks and risks in supplier base selection.
• Develop and apply a strategic procurement plan for indirect procurement.
• Encourage early supplier involvement in new service designs to optimize quality, cost, and serviceability.
