Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Regional HR Head/Manager to lead human resources across Malaysia and selected ASEAN markets. You will drive people strategies, talent acquisition, workforce planning, compensation and engagement to align with business goals.

The role requires extensive HR leadership across multiple markets, with focus on expatriate recruitment, relocation, and regional HR policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Admin, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience managing full spectrum of HR functions in regional or multinational contexts.
• Experience overseeing HR across Malaysia and at least one ASEAN market such as Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full spectrum of HR operations across Malaysia and selected ASEAN markets.
• Develop regional HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with business growth.
• Drive strategic talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning and cross-border mobility.
• Lead talent development initiatives including career development, performance management, and learning.
• Partner with leaders to identify workforce requirements and manpower strategies.
• Oversee compensation and benefits, salary benchmarking and regional HR practices.
• Establish and monitor HR policies, processes and KPIs with compliance to local laws.
• Manage employee relations, including disciplinary issues and grievances.
• Drive employee engagement and retention to support a high-performing culture.
• Provide HR advisory to senior management and regional stakeholders.
• Lead and develop HR teams across markets with cross-border collaboration.
