Job summary

Atotech, a brand of MKS, seeks a Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth for the Functional Electronic Coatings (FEC) business across Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines.

You will lead a team of Technical Sales Engineers and work with Global Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, and Marketing to develop customer-focused solutions and ensure successful commercialization of new FEC technologies.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in technical sales, business development, product management, or commercial leadership within the electronics materials, electroplating, semiconductor, or surface finishing industries.
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of functional electronic coatings, electroplating chemistry, semiconductor packaging, and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional business development strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify high-growth market segments and emerging opportunities in semiconductor packaging, leadframe manufacturing, connector manufacturing, power electronics, automotive electronics, consumer electronics, and industrial electronics.
• Develop annual business plans, sales forecasts, and growth initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, customer investment plans, and competitive activities to identify strategic opportunities.
