Job summary

Maybank in Ipoh is seeking a dealer relations officer to service national car dealers and other branches as assigned by Branch Management. You will maintain cordial relationships, receive dealer submissions, collect documents, and coordinate with Processing to move files forward.

You will conduct site visits, report on dealer genuineness, and assist in appointing new dealers. Additionally, you will support cross-selling of products such as credit cards and merchant services, and monitor

Responsibilities

• Service primarily new national car dealers or other dealers as assigned by Branch Management.
• Maintain cordial and good business rapport with servicing dealers.
• Receive submissions from dealers and initiate document collection; coordinate with Processing to proceed.
• Conduct site visits to customer premises and report on genuineness and declarations in applications.
• Initiate appointment of panel dealers (new car or other dealer types) in the future.
• Cross-sell of other bank products (e.g., credit cards, merchant services) as required by Management.
• Monitor disbursement and growth targets for Retail Hire Purchase.
