Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our global RPO team supporting high-profile manufacturing clients in Malaysia. Based across Batu Kawan Industrial Park and Kulim Hi-Tech Park, you will manage end-to-end DL/IDL recruitment, partnering with hiring managers to attract and secure top talent in a fast-paced environment.

You will leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, JobStreet and ATS, build talent pipelines, and deliver a superior candidate and stakeholder experience.

Qualifications

• End-to-end recruitment for Direct Labour (DL) and Indirect Labour (IDL) roles.
• Experience in manufacturing/electronics/industrial environments.
• High-volume DL hiring alongside specialist IDL recruitment.
• Proficient sourcing including Boolean searches, talent mapping & pipeline development.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, JobStreet and ATS.

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to join the Korn Ferry RPO team, supporting a global leader in the semiconductor equipment and advanced manufacturing industry.

Based across Batu Kawan Industrial Park and Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Penang, you will manage end-to-end recruitment for a diverse portfolio of Direct Labour (DL) and Indirect Labour (IDL) positions, partnering closely with hiring managers and business leaders to attract and secure top talent.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days onsite across Batu Kawan and Kulim, with 1 day working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for DL and IDL positions, from hiring manager briefings and sourcing through to candidate screening, interviews and offer management.
• Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to support high-volume DL hiring and specialist IDL recruitment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand workforce requirements, provide consultative recruitment support and drive hiring outcomes.
• Proactively source and engage candidates through JobStreet, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, referrals, talent mapping and other direct sourcing channels.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support immediate hiring needs and future workforce requirements.
• Leverage creative sourcing approaches to attract talent in Penang's competitive semiconductor and manufacturing market.
• Provide talent market intelligence, including candidate availability, competitor hiring trends, salary benchmarks and market insights, to support informed hiring decisions.
• Manage multiple vacancies and hiring priorities while ensuring recruitment timelines, service delivery expectations and candidate experience standards are met.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with recruitment processes and reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, sourcing effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment for both Direct Labour (DL) and Indirect Labour (IDL) positions.
• Strong experience supporting recruitment within manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, engineering or other industrial environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume DL hiring alongside specialist or technical IDL recruitment.
• Experience within a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) environment or recruiting for leading semiconductor, electronics and advanced manufacturing organisations would be highly advantageous.
• Strong direct sourcing capabilities, including Boolean searches, talent mapping, candidate engagement and pipeline development.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence hiring decisions across different business functions.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, JobStreet, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
• Resourceful and creative in developing sourcing strategies to overcome talent shortages and competitive hiring conditions.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Collaborative, adaptable and proactive, with a passion for delivering a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Able to work onsite across Batu Kawan Industrial Park and Kulim Hi-Tech Park 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home.
