Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment for technical, manufacturing, and support roles. The role collaborates with HRBPs, COEs, and hiring managers to meet timely, high-quality hiring outcomes.

It includes college engagement, immigration support, and talent insights to guide decisions. The position is a fixed-term (12-month) contract with hybrid work models, targeting a high-performing workforce in a global tech company known for its strong workplace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in HR, business, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in semiconductors or high-tech manufacturing preferred.
• Experience hiring for technical, engineering, and manufacturing roles in global/matrixed organizations.
• Campus recruitment and early talent program experience is a plus.

The impact you’ll make

As a Senior Recruiter, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for Lam Research Malaysia, focusing on technical, manufacturing, and support roles. This is a fixed-term (12-month) contract position. You will collaborate with hiring managers, HRBPs, and COEs to ensure timely and quality hiring outcomes. You will also drive college engagement efforts, support recruitment-related projects, ensure compliance with hiring policies, and provide talent insights and market intelligence to guide hiring decisions. What You’ll Do

• Manage full-cycle recruitment including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies, especially for niche semiconductor skillsets.
• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other digital platforms.
• Drive college engagement initiatives such as career fairs, internship programs, and university partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions to support early talent pipelines.
• Prepare and present talent market insights and competitor intelligence to support hiring decisions.
• Track and report hiring KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, pipeline health) and take action to meet targets.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with internal policies, labor laws, and data privacy regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of candidate evaluations, interview outcomes, and hiring decisions.
• Support immigration processes and liaise with legal counsel when required.
• Contribute to recruitment-related projects such as employer branding, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Evaluate and manage third-party recruitment vendors, providing feedback and ensuring service quality.
• Champion a positive candidate experience and promote Lam's employer brand across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, COEs, and business stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with Lam Malaysia’s hiring needs.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Proven success in hiring for technical, engineering, and manufacturing roles in a global or matrixed organization.
• Experience in campus recruitment and early talent programs is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
• Proficient in sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards, and data reporting tools like Excel, dashboards, and ATS analytics.
• Ability to deliver talent insights, market intelligence, and data-driven hiring decisions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and candidate experience.
• Familiarity with global hiring practices, immigration processes, and employment law.
• Team-oriented and able to work effectively across HR functions and business units.
• Candidates with team leadership experience in talent acquisition will be favorably considered.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
