Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for technical, manufacturing, and support roles in Malaysia. This 12-month fixed-term contract will partner with hiring managers, HRBPs, and COEs to ensure timely and quality hires while driving college engagement and early talent pipelines.

You will manage intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, onboarding, and immigration coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
• Proven success hiring for technical, engineering, and manufacturing roles in global or matrixed org.
• Campus recruitment and early talent program experience preferred.

As a Senior Recruiter, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for Lam Research Malaysia, focusing on technical, manufacturing, and support roles. This is a fixed-term (12-month) contract position. You will collaborate with hiring managers, HRBPs, and COEs to ensure timely and quality hiring outcomes. You will also drive college engagement efforts, support recruitment-related projects, ensure compliance with hiring policies, and provide talent insights and market intelligence to guide hiring decisions. What you’ll do

• Prepare and present talent market insights and competitor intelligence to support hiring decisions.
• Track and report hiring KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, pipeline health) and take action to meet targets.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with internal policies, labor laws, and data privacy regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of candidate evaluations, interview outcomes, and hiring decisions.
• Support immigration processes and liaise with legal counsel when required.
• Contribute to recruitment-related projects such as employer branding, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Evaluate and manage third-party recruitment vendors, providing feedback and ensuring service quality.
• Champion a positive candidate experience and promote Lam’s employer brand across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, COEs, and business stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with Lam Malaysia’s hiring needs.

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Proven success in hiring for technical, engineering, and manufacturing roles in a global or matrixed organization.
• Experience in campus recruitment and early talent programs is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
• Proficient in sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards, and data reporting tools like Excel, dashboards, and ATS analytics.
• Ability to deliver talent insights, market intelligence, and data-driven hiring decisions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and candidate experience.
• Familiarity with global hiring practices, immigration processes, and employment law.
• Team-oriented and able to work effectively across HR functions and business units.
• Candidates with team leadership experience in talent acquisition will be favorably considered.
