About the role

We are looking for a Recovery Officer to join our team at United Capital Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role is responsible for effectively collecting outstanding payments and managing customer accounts to drive business growth.

What you'll be doing

• Contact customers to discuss and resolve outstanding payments in a professional and courteous manner
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers
• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and payment activities
• Provide regular updates on collection progress and performance
• Identify and escalation complex or sensitive cases as needed
• Support the development and implementation of effective collection strategies
• Minimize and resolve customer complaints

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in debt collection related to personal financing, easy payment schemes, product financing, or business financing
• Strong persuasive communication and active listening skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and persistent
• Strong team player, yet capable of working independently and under pressure
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
