Job summary

The role involves maintaining stock records in Excel, inspecting deliveries, verifying DOs and invoices, labeling, organizing storage, and supporting daily stock checks and month-end counts.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock management and inventory control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for stock records.
• Ability to verify deliveries, DOs and invoices and labeling.

• Inspect and verify incoming deliveries for quality and compliance.
• Check deliveries against Delivery Orders and invoices; confirm quantities and product details.
• Ensure fruit baskets are correctly labeled with product name, weight and barcode.

Job description

Maintain accurate stock records of fruits and produce in the hypermarket using Microsoft Excel.

Inspect and verify incoming deliveries from local and international suppliers for quality, freshness, and compliance with specifications.

Check deliveries against Delivery Orders (DO) and Invoices, confirming quantity, labeling, and product details.

Verify that all fruit baskets are correctly labeled with product name, kilogram, and barcode label before being placed on the sales floor.

Monitor and organize the storage area to maintain cleanliness and freshness.

Conduct daily stock checks and assist with month-end inventory counts.

Assist in quality control and ensure only approved products are placed on shelves.

Support operational tasks and execute any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Assist in verifying and completing the 7-point checklist (product type, quantity, size, grade, label, country, etc. ).
