Bybit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Principal Business Risk Controller to lead end-to-end fund risk strategy and real-time risk controls across multiple business lines. You will leverage device fingerprints, time-series data, and transaction graphs to build layered risk strategies and monitor core metrics for loss prevention.

The role requires 3–6 years in payment/fund security risk, strong SQL/Python skills, and an adversarial mindset to counter black market tactics.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in payment/internet fund security or transaction/anti-fraud risk control.
• Experience at Alipay, WeChat Pay, or leading consumer finance firms is preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data mining and feature analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end fund risk strategy systems across business lines (wealth management, trading, RWA, core products).
• Analyze risk data, quantify losses, and perform adversarial reviews.
• Design and deploy rule-based risk controls and manage A/B experiments.
• Collaborate with cross-team to integrate risk features and dashboards.
• Participate in emergency response for major online fund security incidents.
