Job summary

GOODNITE SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate raw material records and ensure availability for production.

You will monitor stock, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies while coordinating with Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams. Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in Logistics or related field and 1–3 years of warehouse or raw material store experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in warehouse or raw material store operations (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Knowledge of inventory control and stock handling.
• Familiar with inventory management systems.

Job description

Maintain accurate raw material inventory records in the system.

Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient materials are available for production.

Perform regular cycle counts and monthly stock take.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Material Receiving

Receive raw materials from suppliers and verify quantities against delivery orders.

Coordinate with Quality Control for incoming material inspection.

Ensure proper documentation and system entry for received materials.

Material Issuance

Issue raw materials to production according to approved requisitions.

Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are followed where applicable.

Prepare and maintain issuance records.

Ensure proper documentation and system entry for issuing materials.

Storage & Warehouse Management

Ensure proper storage and labelling of raw materials.

Maintain raw material store organization, cleanliness, and safety.

Ensure materials are stored according to company standards and procedures.

Documentation & System Update

Update inventory transactions in SQL inventory system accurately and timely.

Maintain proper filing of raw material store documents (GRN, DO, Material Requisition, Picking list, Stock Card, etc.).

Coordination

Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Quality departments for material planning and usage.

Report any material shortages or abnormal consumption.

Compliance

Ensure compliance with company procedures, inventory control policies, and audit requirements.

Support internal and external audits when required.

Job Requirement:

Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in warehouse or raw material store operations (manufacturing environment preferred).

Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and stock handling.

Familiar with inventory management systems.

Good organizational and communication skills.

Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
