ZTE in Malaysia is seeking a telecom RAN commissioning engineer to drive end-to-end deployment from installation to On-Air status across eNB and gNB platforms. You will independently manage BSC and EMS/UME installations to Ready for Service and commercial launch, translating designs into concrete deployments while coordinating with R&D for complex troubleshooting and final reports.

Execute eNB and gNB commissioning and integration through to On-Air status across various solutions.
Independently manage the end-to-end installation, commissioning, and integration of BSC systems through to Ready for Service (RFS) and commercial launch.
Independently handle EMS/UME installation, commissioning, and integration through to RFS and commercial launch.
Identify customer requirements and proactively design and deliver tailored solutions.
Support new Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives by actively participating in Market RAN solution preparation and reviews.
Drive internal team skill development through knowledge sharing and one-on-one on-the-job training (OJT) for junior RAN team members.
Translate High-Level Designs (HLD) into Low-Level/Detailed-Level Designs (LLD/DLD) using strong foundational technical knowledge.
Lead troubleshooting initiatives, guiding team members in coordinating with R&D for root cause analysis and delivering final report presentations.
Strong practical experience in IP networking and IT server equipment.
Proficiency in Linux operating systems (e.g., RedHat, CGSL).
Demonstrated knowledge or background in RF is highly preferred.
