About the job 5G Configuration and Developer

Job overview and responsibility

• Develop and maintain 5G network solutions, ensuring adherence to Java/C/C++ programming standards and 3GPP protocol validation.
• Conduct thorough log analysis and debugging on wireless protocol stacks to guarantee compliance with LTE and NR standards.
• Configure and optimize network equipment using modem test tools and test base stations to enhance overall network performance.
• Address critical features and bug fixes for North American carriers, fostering strong client relationships and meeting their specific requirements.

Required skills and experiences

• At least 5 years of related working experience in the related field.
• PhD/Master/Bachelor Degree in Computer/ Electronic/ Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science
• 3GPP protocol background, LTE and NR protocol validation.
• Experience in modem Test equipment (R&S/Keysight) and Test base stations.
• Log analysis and debugging on Wireless (4G/5G) protocol stack especially L3/L2, FAPI, MAC, RLC, RRC.
• Solid understanding of RIL, Telephony framework, IMS and MCFG customization
• Work experience on eSIM.
• Exposure to QC chipsets, LTE power control, and LTE-RF testing.
• Exposure to features and bug fixes related to NA carriers (AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile)
• Experience developing on Android Core environment and good understanding of Android core concepts.
• Practical involvement in Jira, Git, Agile software development process.
• Tools: Wireshark, QCAT, PCAT, QXDM, QRCT

Preferred skills and experiences

• Knowledge of 3GPP NR, and EUTRAN procedures.
• Good understanding of LTE and/or 5G RAN architecture
