Job summary

CBRE KL BSO in Bangsar South is seeking a Finance Analyst to apply basic cash and accrual accounting to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete financial reports for a portfolio of clients and properties.

This role sits in the Financial Strategy and Operations function, focused on maintaining accounting policies and controls. The position requires 1–2 years in a related field, a degree in accounting, and English & Mandarin proficiency; Excel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a relevant field, preferably from a shared service environment.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin (read, write, speak) as role supports China.
• Degree in Accounting; professional qualifications are a plus.
• Excel data analysis skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete accounting transactions in preparation of client financial statement packages.
• Create and post journal entries and ensure expenses, receipts, owner distributions, funding requests are posted.
• Use data from multiple sources to generate reports.
• Generate financial packages for accuracy and reporting.
• Review information and respond to management and vendor requests.
• Analyze trends and support scenario planning tools/models.
• Resolve issues and communicate with management teams and clients.
