Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an R2R Accountant in Malaysia to carry out transaction processing within a defined R2R area. You will perform daily accounting activities and month-end close, ensuring quality and timely delivery, while participating in process improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of accounting experience and knowledge of SAP or Oracle ERP, with strong English communication and experience in a global shared service centre.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting & Finance/ACCA or equivalent.
• 1–2 years accounting experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems within a global shared service.
• Strong English communication and ability to work across a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver transaction processing within defined guidelines for R2R.
• Perform month-end close activities and produce monthly reports.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and assist with process improvements.
• Document processes and support system changes.
• Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders and ensure controls compliance.
• Assist Team Lead and onboard new joiners to the stream.
