Nyan Kids (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented merchandiser coordinator to support the flow of garment production. You will manage tech packs, specs, and order instructions across departments, ensure accuracy of documents, and assist in cost estimation and quotation preparation.
You will also coordinate with purchasing for fabrics and trims, review lab dips and samples, and maintain organized records for future reference.
Regularly access customer platforms and emails to obtain the latest tech packs, specifications and order instructions.
Check workflow charts, order forms and technical documents for completeness and accuracy.
Print, organize and clearly label all customer documents, then submit them to the merchandiser for further action.
Assist in sending tech packs, measurement specifications, and approvals to relevant departments.
Follow merchandiser instructions to arrange sample garment production, ensuring timeline are properly tracked and communicated.
Provide material and specification data to costing staff for accurate cost estimation.
Collect costing results and help format them into formal quotations for merchandiser review and customer submission.
Inform the purchasing team of required fabrics, trims and accessories for sample development as directed by the merchandiser.
Review submissions such as lab dips, swatches and test reports, and promptly alert the merchandiser to any discrepancies.
Search digital systems or physical files to assist merchandisers in locating past orders, pricing data or design records.
Coordinate with internal teams to produce print strike-offs when artwork or customer prints are involved.
Prepare color cards or reference and submit them to fabric supplier for lab dip development.
Track progress with teams or suppliers and provide regular updates to merchandisers, highlighting any delays.
Act as a communication bridge between merchandisers and teams such as production, QA or sourcing to gather and relay information.
File all relevant order materials (emails, printouts, cost sheets, approval etc) in an organized and accessible system for historical reference.
Perform any other task as assigned by the superior from time to time.
