Job summary

Belive Petscare Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an enthusiastic R&D Formulation Scientist to translate product requirements into practical formulations and prototype development. You will work with cross-functional teams, conduct stability tests, and help ensure quality standards such as GVP and HACCP are met.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–2 years of relevant experience is a plus, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced nutraceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field.

• Knowledge of GVP, HACCP and other food safety standards.
• Strong analytical skills with interest in product development and formulation science.

Responsibilities

• Develop product prototypes, conduct trials, and improve formulations to meet performance, quality, and sensory expectations.
• Manage raw material sourcing, product costing, and preparation of indicative quotations for new and improved products.
• Conduct stability testing, sensory evaluation, and production trial runs prior to full scale manufacturing.
• Support understanding of product requirements with customers and internal teams, translating them into practical formulations.
• Support market research and supplier networking by participating in industry expos, fairs, and conferences.

• Ensure all product development activities comply with GVP, HACCP, and other relevant quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Animal Nutrition, Bioveterinary Science, Animal Science, Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
