Job summary

Stream Environment Sdn Bhd is seeking an R&D Engineer to support new product development and improvements, delivering practical engineering solutions for regional and international customers. Based in Malaysia, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into prototypes and tested designs.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering with 0–1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 0–1 year of working experience (fresh graduates encouraged).
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D activities for new product development and product improvements.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams on product design and customization.
• Assist in product testing, evaluation, and quality improvement.
• Ensure engineering documents comply with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Maintain and safeguard engineering documentation and backups.
• Prepare 2D fabrication drawings for new design and prototype.
• Coordinate with suppliers and fabricators for quotations and prototyping.
