Job summary

Tea Garden Management Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru is seeking an entry-level Culinary Associate to assist the Head of R&D in taste testing, cost analysis and operational viability, and to document findings for follow-up.

You will help develop and update SOPs for new and existing products, support QC/QA with the operations team, and monitor market trends to support menu improvements while upholding the brand's Malaysian heritage.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, diploma, or certification in Culinary Arts is advantageous.
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
• Food handler's license is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of R&D with taste testing, cost analysis and operational viability; document findings for follow-up.
• Contribute to development and updating of SOPs for new and existing products; troubleshoot SOP issues.
